The Google store is good for customers but it will also be good for Google & mobile Internet innovation

Jon stokes (@hannibalrex) wrote a good analysis on Ars Technica about the potential importance of the Google online mobile phone store for the carrier industry and, ultimately, the customers. If the Google store will be successful, the customer could get better quality networks and lower costs.

Independently I wrote my own short analysis on my web2society.com blog that reflects the same conclusion. However, next to the advantages for the end customer, this online store is a good move for Google and, in general, the innovation of mobile Internet applications and services.

I’m looking forward to your comments on the strategic importance of the Google online store on web2society.
