Test Posterous cool auto hash-tag embedding feature

I found out that in the advanced auto Tweet settings on Posterous you can specify the layout of the auto-tweets sent for new posts. I specified it to be:

{{subject}} {{hash_tags}} {{short_post_url}}

To add tags to your Posterous post you can add the following syntax to the e-mail subject that creates the post: ((tag : apples, peers))

Posterous should now automatically tweet the post subject with the tags as hashtags!

My three-tweet-blog experiment at Posterous

Twitter is fabulous, but when you include links and hash tags in your tweet, how much is left to write real content? Keeping it succinct is good, but sometimes there is just too little space.

So here it is: my Posterous blog experiment, a blog with posts of at most three tweets in length: too much for Twitter too little for a 'real' blog post.

Posterous will be the content channel and Twitter its meta-data channel!
